Presentation of the students' works

On Tuesday 20th and Thursday 22nd of March 2018 at the Carbet middle school, the visiting students from the different partner schools presented mock job interviews, video or Powerpoint insights of their schools and regions and interviews of professionals from green businesses. The mayor of Carbet, Jean-Claude Ecanvil, and representatives from the tourism office and the Local Education Authority in Martinique were invited to enjoy these performances. Visit of the "Hameau Du morne des Cadets" in Fond-Saint-Denis

The Carbet middle school wanted to show its visitors the green job that its students have studied, namely organic farmer and ecotouristic guest house manager that is performed by M. Léon Tisgra, the pioneer in organic farming in Martinique. On Tuesday March 20th, M. Tisgra and his wife welcomed us for a nice lunch and educational visit on their farm as if we were "members of their family", as they stated.


Visit of Domaine d'Emeraude in MOrne rouge

On Thrusday 22nd of March 2018, we visited a park dedicated to the biodiverisity in Martinique and went for a walk in the tropical forest. We met the ecotouristic guide Tina Schmidt who explained to us, in a very enthousiastic way, what makes Martinique so special in terms of flora, fauna and volcanic formation. We also had the opportunity to discover and taste some medicinal plants such as stevia.


Farewell dinner and presentation of the certificates of attendance

During the farewell dinner on Friday, March 23rd 2018, Mme Barège, headmistress at the Carbet middle school, handed out certificates to all the visiting students and teachers to congratulate them for their active participation in every learning activity of the mobility week in Martinique.
